Brad and I came across a great stop for breakfast after an event our web site Dented Ego sponsored. The yellow ribbon walk to stop suicide. The event took place in Balboa Park, San Diego. It was a fantastic success. However, with set up and participation we did not have time to eat before. We were hungry and wanted to try something new. We headed back to Del Mar and stopped in La Jolla, Whisknladle. We loved the cool elements, concrete bar top, vertical wine holder and eye catching little details everywhere. Brad loved his salad and I enjoyed my scrambled egg whites. “I loved the amazing bacon”. I don’t know why it was so good. It just was! They have fresh nectar’s prepared daily for their cocktails. Too many to mention, but so worth trying every single one….
