inspire me with paper clamps

I have been trying to come up with something for these paper clamps for the longest time.  I think this is a fun idea.  I have seen it twice now and most recently in the latest issue of House Beautiful.  They could be used for huge stacks of  unopened bills, “lol” or even files, for those who still keep them.   The project is simple.  Make a pattern for the paper, cut and glue, glue, glue!  Make everyday an event. xoxo

fab finds, gifts for sonja

Sonja’s Birthday was Yesterday and I’m  late getting these gifts in the mail.  She is my Regional Assistant who lives in Colorado.  “Amazing what technology has done to keep people connected”!   I could not survive a day without Sonja.  She knows where  everything is and never forgets where I left my brain last.  In fact, if Sonja knew I had her gifts to get in the mail, she would have scheduled it into my day and given me directions to the nearest postal annex.   I had fun shopping for her.  She is sweet, funny, loves all creatures with tails and deserves to relax.   I got her my favorite candle and soap, a coffee cup just like mine and the too cute ring holder above.  Happy Birthday Sonja and Thank You! xoxo

mondays menu, stuffed mushrooms

Stuffed portobello mushrooms make a fantastic main dish.  I made the stuffing with spinach, apple sausage, goat cheese, mozzarella cheese, Seaside Market bread crumbs and topped with parmesan cheese.  Pair these mushrooms with a yummy wedge salad and you have dinner.  Bon Appetit…  xoxo
