one of my favorite projects, pink glitter cloth pins

I did this project in November and loved it.  I had posted it on the site, but not many of you got to see it.  Here is one of my favorite posts.  Enjoy!

I guess you never really know whats going to inspire me to do a project.  Sometimes, it’s just as simple as seeing a package of cloth pins and thinking.  What can I do with these?   I can cover them in glitter, use them as a chip clip, a page saver or even clip up pictures on a cloths line.  The possibilities are as endless as my imagination… xoxo

inspire me with a covered backgammon board

Brad and I came across this backgammon board while we were helping Mary clear out her garage.  Instead of sending it off to the garage sale, we set it aside with the intention play.   I really love the inside of the game board, but the outside not so much.  It’s so large that it can sit on my giant coffee table that’s actually a door.  A little  fabric, a little trim, staple gun and glue.   I love the way it turned out and can’t wait to play with Brad.  “As in play backgammon .”  Lol!  Xoxo

mondays menu, organic heirloom mozzarella sandwich

We had a great Memorial Day with friends at the beach.  You can’t sit at the beach all day without a little something to munch on.  So,  I made these heirloom mozzarella sandwiches.  They were delicious!

I toasted the buns with a little olive oil.   Then coated the buns with basil pesto from Trader Joe’s, layered sliced heirloom tomato, buffalo mozzarella and Organic Girl baby arugula tossed with a little olive oil and my favorite LuLu cherry balsamic vinegar.  I individually wrapped them for perfect snacks at the beach.  Enjoy!
