Hey Loves, Happy Thursday! It’s been a while since we took a stroll through my little cottage, right? So, I made a few little updates. I’m mean after all, summer is here and well…I was getting board and was ready for a mini update. I say mini, because its just a few items added (all from Bon-Bon Home, my obsession) but, not mini in the way an update makes me feel. AWESOME if you know what I mean?
I’m all about having fun and working with what I have at the moment. We have big future ideas even plans to remodel the cottage and take it to contemporary which will require an entirely new décor overhaul. I can hardly wait. I even think I can taste it, as if that’s even possible?
I removed the slipcover from the sofa, placed the back pillows in beautiful linen shames in white and yellow. The big bang is the blue pillow I had to have ($$$). The sassy apple green and blue geometric print was a must to pull the stripped rug into the room.
I pulled the spyglass out of the guesthouse to play off the pillow and apple green stripped rug.
I placed succulents in three areas around the room. The greenery mixed with the texture of the baskets and super cool rope frame really gives the room that casual beach feel.
In the bedroom I simply added these vintage pillows. I’m a freak about great pillows and for whatever reason can justify the cost. I covet them!
Okay, that’s my update. I hope you enjoyed the little tour? Smooches xoxo
Gorgeous photos-your home is beautiful!!
Such a lovely little place – I would never want to leave. (Met you and Brad at Union 101 – we gave you the table as we were leaving.) It was fun to meet the two of you and thank you for sharing your site with us. Ed & Cherie

Hey Scott,
I overheard part of the conversation. Hope you have a good sense of humor. For a minute there it sounded like Brad was including me as part of the cottage rental. LOL and we look forward to you and Jenni making it here. You will absolutely love it!
