Entertaining…simple easy-peazy

Efforless entertaining 1Hey Loves, no taco for me today. I over splurged during the weekend and now I’m paying for it. Grrrrr…sad-face…sigh! Taco Tuesday is my favorite day of the week, so I’m a little bummed, but I came up with plan B. Basque vegetable soup with beans and salsa. Oh-and you’re supposed to eat tons of fresh French bread with cobs of butter with the soup, but I’m omitting the bread and butter butter and bread in my case.

I will plan to post the recipe next week, but for today here’s an easy-peazy table setting for entertaining when you didn’t even expect too. Of course it’s Al fresco, because the weather outside is just too beautiful to be inside and besides that 1500 piece puzzle is still sitting in the middle of the house :0/.

Keep it simple stupid and use what you have. I always buy white dishes, bowls etc., but any combination of dishes will do. For the greenery on the table, I pulled my herb planters from the kitchen window and they become my table centerpiece. I snipped a few springs of rosemary, tied them with twin and set one on each place setting. I love the organic detail. It seems effortless and smells so fresh. Another easy step you can consider to keep it hassle free is to not worry about matching all your flatware. I keep a little jar of mix match pieces and just pull out whatever. I personally can’t live without tea lights, so I always have those on hand.

Easy-peazy right? Smooches and smiles and a beautiful night
