Hello Lovies. I just consumed my fist leftover turkey sandwich, “Yum.” I took bites as I made my way through the remaining dishes, “Yuck.” It was a beautiful Thanksgiving surrounded with family and friends. I’m truly grateful!
If you follow the blog on a regular basis, you know that I have been creating small details over the past few weeks to complete this years table setting. The hand painted place mats with thankful inspirations set the theme (instructions on how to create click here). Then came the frosted doted centerpiece vase (instructions on how to create click here). I added a little silk ruffle to the simple white dinner napkins to soften the place setting. Originally I planed to use magnolias from our tree for the centerpiece, but they have not bloomed yet, so I headed off to the flower market and made a bouquet using white hydrangeas, green fuzzy things and a little dark filler. The mother of pearl chargers and plates are from Pottery Barn. Topping of the setting is magnolia leaves as place cards.
