Do you ever just crave pizza? I do…all the time, but I’m trying not to eat a bunch of starchy carbs to get my bikini bod ready “note, I said trying.” I convinced myself that it would be okay for me to have one piece if I rolled out the dough as thin as I could possibly get it. You may find this surprising, but I did have one piece and well…delish!
Here’s the scoop:
• One ready may pizza dough from Whole Foods or Trader Joes
• Organic tomatoes sliced
• Organic pizza sauce again, at Whole Foods
• Organic basil “I grow my own.”
• Mozzarella cheese grated
• One ball of sliced buffalo Mozzarella cheese
Preheat your over per the bread package instructions. Roll out your dough on a floured surface. Get it as thin as possible and place it on a parchment lined cookie sheet. I decided after I cooked the pizza that it would be a better idea to slightly pre-cook the dough to get it crispier for like one third of the cooking time before you add all the layers.
Spread the pizza sauce on the dough. Layer with tomatoes, basil and cheese. Cook for the remainder of the recommended time and enjoy.
