There is an art to a great Caesar salad, but the perfect Caesar is nothing without the perfect crouton…Oh, and the crispy parmesan is a must accompaniment.
The crouton recipe is below. When I’m asked to bring a salad to a dinner party; I make sure it is a blow your socks off salad. I do as much ahead of time as possible, the croutons, the parmesan crisp, the killer caesar dressing (a future post) and instead of using plastic containers to transport, I take my own bowl and package the contents as nice as possible. Events big and small are all about the details. It’s easy to make every day an event. Smooches!
