Hi loves. I’m home sick…actually lying in bed with some sort of sneeze-cough junk. Any-who, I’m here and walk into my perfectly stocked little kitchen and I say to myself…”I should share all my kitchen must haves with you”.
These are all items that I own and swear by. Some of them are pricy investments, but they are the kind of purchases that you don’t ever have to replace.
For example, my Kitchen Aid mixer is at least 10 years old and is my favorite kitchen appliance. Most of my cooking pans are All Clad brad and worth every penny. I have been adding to my collection over the years with one purchase at a time. The cast iron Le Creuset Dutch oven is a coveted wonder. It’s a definite investment, but again it will last a lifetime. Lastly, a few good multi-purpose knives are a must have in every kitchen. I have one favorite, like the one above.
If you follow the blog on a regular basis, you know that I am never without cherry balsamic, French sea salt, herbs of Provence or lemons.
I hope my suggestions are helpful to you and don’t hesitate to ask me my thoughts about you building your own culinary inventory? Smooches and xoxo
I feel like if I had written down a list of my favorite kitchen items at least 80% of what you have here would have been on my list too – and I love the blue Kitchen Aid {one of my prized possessions} and Le Creucet Dutch Oven.
My only additions would be:
A Veggie Chopper – makes chopping onions a tear-free experience.
And flexible ice cube trays – perfect for freezing everything from broth and other sauces to molding candy. And of course for ice cubes.
Hope you are feeling better and up and around soon!

Hi Laura,
I couldn’t agree more with your suggestions.I don’t know what I did before flexible ice cube trays and I must use my salad spinner at least four times a week. Love the suggestions!
Smooches, xoxo
P.S. I’m out of bed, and on my way back. smiles…
