I can’t help myself this time of year.  Cool stuff I’m not even looking for just jumps out at me.  It’s almost like it’s screaming…you should buy me; and gift it to you (meaning me). I’m supposed to be shopping for other people.  What’s wrong with me?

I have tons of paint brushes, but I have never thought to use them as decor.  I love the interest in the above photo. I almost bought them…almost.   I may not have resisted with the other photos below.  Absolutely perfect gifts for me, of course.  The bling bangles and chevron beaded clutch by Niquea.D found exclusively at Papyrus.    The turquoise dog collar for Penelope was found at Muttropolis.  She will be so stylish.  The pillows found at Bon Bon Home; well what girl doesn’t like pillows?  I’m just saying.

If you’re out there shopping, don’t forget to get a little gift or two for you.  You deserve it!  Make everyday an event.  xoxo

fab finds bring on the yellow

Bring on the yellow.  It’s amazing how much color surrounds us.  Sometimes I stumble upon the inspiration for a theme in unexpected places.  Above are amazing cupcakes from a local favorite, Cupcake Love.  They were served as the delicious hostess dessert at a soiree  for Niquea.d at Papyrus.                 {Interesting table setting with lemons from Bon.Bon Home}

fab finds, dot dot dots

Everywhere I look, I see dots, as in polka dots.  I love them!  They have a personality all their own.  They even make me giggle and smile on the inside.  Polka dots have a way of being effortlessly whimsical while still having a sophistication and yes,  even style.   Bring on the dot, dot, dot and don’t forget to make everyday an event.  Smooches and hugs too. xoxo
