inspire me with frosted glass bottles

I do love a project, especially on the weekend.  Lol, I’m completely lying.   I do love the blog, but (@#$%*)  it’s a ton of work.   Also, it happens to be summer and I live in San Diego California.  Hello? I would kind of like to go to the beach on the weekend, “just saying”.

I come up with this stuff in my sleep.  So, I’m actually always working 24/7.   This particular project is a favorite.  These bottles turned out awesome!  I may even make them available for special purchase.  How cool would it be to give someone a gift that is personalized?  I could personalize a wedding date, or special poem or even a sweet message.   I’m just thinking.  So, should I custom make these?   Tell me?

weekend where to go, la villa in little italy

Brad and I love to attend farmers markets throughout the County.  Little Italy in San Diego has an amazing one.  While roaming the streets and vendors we came across La Villa.  A charming outdoor patio pulled us in.  The inside of the restaurant is cool too, but the patio is where we wanted to be.  Brad and I rarely get a table.  We always prefer sitting bar top and learning a little bit about the establishment through the staff.  We ordered the usual, two shots of good quality tequila and a wood fire margarita pizza.  The pizza was a perfect afternoon snack and tequila is always good.  The owner was there that day and we learned that she owned one of our favorite little Italian restaurants Trattoria   I Trully in Encinitas.  We enjoyed the afternoon stop and you will too… xoxo

weekend where to go, the cheesecake factory

{cheese cake at the cheesecake factory}

I’m not usually a big fan of restaurant chains.  However, The Cheesecake Factory is one major exception.  I won’t say they are my favorite, but they do rate high in my go to places.  They don’t know me there , so I don’t get that special hello, welcome back.  They do make up for it pretty quick with excellent service, a good selection of tequilas and anything I can dream up to eat.   We always get the grilled artichoke  appetizer.  So yummy with their balsamic dressing “we also take home a jar”.  His and hers margaritas are of course a staple, followed with the corn tamale cakes.   We never have room to eat dessert while we are there, but we never leave empty handed.  Can you say banana cream cheesecake please?   xoxo{the cheesecake factory to go}
