Love to staycation with Brad at every opportunity. When we really can’t make plans to get out of town we stay at one of our local resorts. Last weekend we had hoped to staycation at the Park Hyatt Aviara, but really couldn’t make the time to enjoy the stay. We opted instead to head out to the resort to one of our favorite restaurants, The Argyle Steakhouse. I do not critique dinning experiences for a living, but I can tell you the The Argyle is simply wonderful in every way. The restaurant overlooks the lagoon and golf course. The view is truly breathtaking. The lobby, dinning room and outdoor dinning give you great options to take in the food and view.
As usual Brad and I sat in the lounge . We started with the customary pop overs with tomato spread, yum! We both ordered the wedge salad with bacon jam on a crostini . Yes, bacon jam and I’m in love. We split our entree, seared Ahi with mashed potato’s, roasted garlic, an assortment of specialty sauces and a side of fresh peas. The dinner was off the charts wonderful, as was the service. Thank you Steve, can’t wait to come back.
{Steve, great smile and made the night so special for us}
I love this place! I always get their mushrooms as an appetizer… so delicious! And don’t even get me started on those popovers 😉
I know! The popovers are beyond words. I have tried so many times to knock them off, but I don’t even come close to getting them right.
