Hey Loves…Happy Tuesday. I’m jumping in and trying something different and I would really appreciate and value your opinion after this post. So, please comment and let me know if you like it…want more, or just what ever you think?
So all of you know I have this crazy, busy life running this blog, chasing down teenagers AKA-Mimi, loving my husband and family, styling homes for my clients, exercising, entertaining, washing out beach sand from between my toes, kissing Penelope’s perfect furry face and living a fantastically fun social life that takes place mostly on the weekends. I do all of these activities while being fully clothed, “shocking…right”? So, I thought I would start sharing some of my outfit choices for various weekend occasions.
I don’t pretend to be a fashion-ista, but I do care about pulling my looks together and make a pretty decent effort at staying somewhat hip, stylishly polished and most of the time…age appropriate. Having said that, I did a little shopping this past weekend grabbing a few items that I thought would be fun for dinner and a movie with the love of my life, Brad on Valentines Day. I will be sporting comfy casual cashmere with a touch of pink and a pop of bling. smooches xoxo.

I was just reading your blog and I think it’ s a really good idea to blog about clothes that are “age appropriate”, it’s not always easy to find clothes that are “fashionable” when we hit this time of our life where we are still young but we have our kids who let us know : you look like a teenager the way you are dresssed ! Grrrrrrrrrr………..
I hope your daughter Mimi is all fine after her skiing days and that you are now being able to sleep on both your ears.

I have actually been worried about you. I was going to e-mail you to make sure all is well. We all get crazy busy, but you usually do a stop by and I always look to see what is going on with you, or what you have to say. I’m sorry I got you worried 🙁 I always enjoy reading your posts but I’ve been overwhelmed with my youngest daughter Amy Lynn who is 8. She’s been sick a lot these past few weeks with 2 stomach flues in 3 weeks + last week she had ear infection in both ears… And when 1 of my kids is not well, I’m not well… Well you know the feeling I’m sure!
But I think I will be able to travel to Los Angeles in May so I’m getting excited and hope the weather over there will be nice & warm! I hear you have been having a warm winter.
But I’m a little sad cause my plans to go to Cali upsets my mother here cause she had also planned a vaca and was counting on me to do some catsitting! Grrrrrrrrrr…….. Sorry for being a little negative… It’s hard not being able to please everyone…

It’s so good to hear from you and yes…I totally get it. When our children are sick, we feel sick too. So much worry! Keep me posted on the your children and let me know your travel plans. Cat sitting does not sound nearly as fun as getting out hear and enjoying the weather. Maybe we could meet in the middle one day in OC?
